Practical help for practical creative entrepreneurs and side hustlers

What is this site all about?

My goal with this site is to help other creative entrepreneurs and side hustlers. From starting an Etsy shop to better organizing your business time and tasks, you'll find...

  • Actionable tips free of fluff and BS

  • Easy to understand technical know-how
  • Helpful encouragement to inspire you

...so you feel more confident navigating this whole online business thing.

As a fellow creative entrepreneur, I know what it's like.

You start with an idea and a dream.

You put so much time, effort and heart into growing something you can be proud of.

Soon, your enthusiasm turns to frustration as you try to figure everything out. You become overwhelmed by the amount of things you're everyone says you're "supposed" to do. And a little irritated by the fluff... the amazing blog post titles that promise help but don't deliver.

And then there's fitting everything into your busy schedule. How are you supposed to prioritize what works and manage all the tasks?

No wonder so many people give up.

I hate seeing talented people give up.

What makes me different?

I don't claim to be an expert or guru or whatever the "in" term is now. I don't have all the answers and I still make mistakes.

But I have been in the middle of the online business side business thing since 2012.  Figuring out what works, what doesn't and balancing it all with a full-time job.

Guess what.

The more I learn, the more I realize how much I don’t know. That pushes me to learn more and experiment more.

    My story

When I opened my photography print shop on Etsy, I had zero idea what I was getting into.  Now I'm humbled to say I've...

    • Shipped my photography prints and products across the world
    • Built a bigger group of happy customers than I imagined
    • Worked with interior designers, art consultants and other professionals

Not bad for an introverted country girl with zero business experience and a full-time job.
